Does this lady look like a Seductress?  Think you’re too old to be a Seductress?  Think again, honey!

Vitality, energy, passion and enthusiasm.  Witty intelligence.  Trust me when I say those qualities are way more interesting to a man than a hot figure and “society’s stamp of approval” face.  Sure-they may attract a man for the short term.  Sure-they may want to have sex with her.  But men stick to a woman going for her passions like industrial strength glue.   You want proof?  Let’s discuss a woman who was considered “old” and “ugly.”

Isabella Stewart Gardner: (1840-1924)  Was thin and sad faced in a time where “voluptuousness” was the fashion.  But she landed the hottest bachelor in Boston society,  financier Jack Gardner.  How?  She was a witty conversationalist, had a huge zest for life, was intellectually curious and had a great sense of humor.  (Which came in handy with the way the press loved to scandalize her) Jack Gardner gave her everything she desired.  Jewels, indulged her passion for art: Gardner Museum  and looked the other way regarding her lovers.  One was Francis Marion Crawford, considered the “handsomest man on two continents” and throngs of “Museum Boys” who followed her wherever she went.  Not bad for such a “homely old woman,” hmmmm Ladies?  And to top it all off, she was a huge philanthropist.   In her will she donated to the Massachusetts Society to Prevent Cruelty to Children, Industrial School for Crippled and Deformed Children and several other important charities.

Bottom line…lady was enmeshed in her passions ie: art and lived exactly how she wanted to.  The result?  People were fascinated by her, adored her and she lived a long and fulfilling life.  So remember the amazing Isabella the next time you are doubting anything about you, gorgeous one.  Get in touch with your passions and see what you can shake loose!    Love, Goddess

PLAY!  Anne Taintor image from Pinterest

Here is a new list of fun, playful and slightly outrageous things to do this weekend!  What yummy mayhem will you cause?

1.  Create your own version of Truth or Dare.  I just finished mine…

2.  Go out with friends and be the Diva of your dreams:  The Princess, the 80s Super Model…you get the idea.  Give yourself an appropriate nick name.  For example, if I decide to be an 80s Super Model:  I would dress and do my hair and make up 80s style.  I would go by one name, even if my last name was asked.  My real name is Sharon, so I would dress it up by calling myself “Sharilyn.”

2. Find a cute man and offer to read his palm.  Say you’re taking a class and need the “practice.”

3.  Here’s a fun one that I haven’t done in a while.  Say you were dared by a friend to “ask a man to kiss your hand.”  I love this one and am going to have to do this one this weekend!

4.  Go out Salsa Dancing.  Wear your brightest dress and most gorgeous heels.  Bring a red rose to put between your teeth.

5.  Clean your car and add your personality.  Add fun feminine things for your travel pleasure.  Change your Cd’s,  add some yummy chocolate mints, beautiful silk flowers, rose petals, shimmer powder brushes, perfume swatches, Kleenex, lip gloss and comfy pillows.  Whatever you love!

6.  Create a yummy new drink and name it after yourself.  Serve it at your parties and order it when you go out.  🙂

7.  Explore your sensuality!  With music, touch and taste.  Here are some fun web site for you to go to:

Eves Garden:   Dell Williams was taking a class with the one and only Dr. Betty Dodson.  She had to go purchase a vibrator.  The only place to get one was behind a Macy’s counter.  She thought women could do so much better.  So she created the sensual heaven Eve’s Garden.  Amazing, inspiring woman!

Kiki De Montparnasse is all about sensuality.  From lingerie to music to bedding.

Enjoy!  And please share any fun, playful and slightly outrageous things to do here at Bitch Lifestyle!

Admiration vs. Loving Yourself

This has been on my mind.   Admiration vs. Loving Yourself.

From The Free Online Dictionary:

ad·mi·ra·tion (dm-rshn) n. 1. A feeling of pleasure, wonder, and approval. See Synonyms at regard.

2. An object of wonder and esteem; a marvel.3. Archaic Wonder.

When I then look up “Loving Yourself,”  there seems to be a lot of negativity attached to it.   The first that struck me was the article on loving yourself and eating disorders.   I worked out today and have eaten healthy all week and that one still got to me.  It gave me an emotional reaction.  Remember my blog on how men use the emotional reaction button on women to get there way? I thought, wow.  Yes, women are bombarded with the “food and how they look emotional button” all the time.  That was depressing me so I unpushed the emotional button.  I did this by getting away from the negative and moving on to the positive.  I put my focus back on Admiration.

Admiration  1. A feeling of pleasure, wonder, and approval.  Doesn’t that feel better?  LOL.  So what do you admire about you, lovely one?  Is it your eyes? Skin? Ability to see the humor in everything?  Your smile, fun-loving nature or your killer business sense?  Can you get the best parking and free food wherever you go?  (Those are two of my talents!)  Have you raised amazing children, broken a record, run a marathon?  Do you cook the most amazing dish in the world, sing beautifully or can make anyone laugh?

My wish for you today is to bask in your accomplishments.  What makes you special!  Your talents and your achievements.  Big and small, silly and serious.   Next time you’re out with your friends, order a sexy drink and have a moment of “Admiration” for each girls’ talents.  Toast to them.   Share them with me so I can admire you and all you do, too!

With Love and Admiration, Goddess
