Falling in Love Key: Dating Yourself. If you don’t want to date yourself…how do you expect anyone else to want to? So for the next few weeks every time you leave the house you’re going on a fabulous date. With yourself. I don’t care if you’re going out to pump gas. It’s the best pumping you’ve ever gotten. I know…naughty metaphor. Make everything you do a fun, kick ass sassy date, Bitch! Yeah…it’s winter. Yeah…it’s cold. Yeah…sometimes you just want to cuddle up with your lap top. I get it and want to do that too. You have to get out though and play. Even after a long day of work. Looking for someone to love besides yourself? Get out and play, then!

Get out of the house. If you’re healing from a break up, anywhere will do. If you’re feeling more adventurous, join a club, take a class, search the local entertainment papers for something, anything to do!
Step out in style. Make the effort to look your best. Fave outfit, fun make-up, hot shoes and accessories.
Own your walk. When you walk into a room, store, anywhere, enter with confidence. Make up something to say that makes you feel good: “Hope you all are ready. Cuz’ here I come!”
Ooze happiness. When you’re getting ready to “step out in style,” play your favorite music, take a few minutes to slow down and get excited about discovering and meeting new people.
Be aware of your body language. Don’t slouch. Hold your head up high. Stand up straight. LOOK lively.
Try, if you’re up to it, to get a man’s attention with your smile. Or make eye contact then give him the gift of a dazzling smile from hot little you.
Spark spontaneous conversation. Be warm, open and friendly.
Make a man feel good. Feel important. With sincerity!
Bitch it Up and make this a one day a week affair with a wonderful girlfriend.
Slow down and savor touch. If you’re out shopping, seek out different textures and materials. Caress the material with your fingertips. Enjoy the touch. Purchase only that which feels incredible on your beautiful skin. Your skin is so worth it!
Give yourself flowers at least ONCE during these weeks.
No expectations. Don’t over think it. Enjoy being in the moment!

Savoring an Unexpected Moment

I’m swimming in lush, warm tropical waters. Completely in the moment. Relishing the feel of the water caressing my skin, the lapping of the waves, the sun warming my face. Nothing could be more perfect, right? I open my eyes and see the most gorgeous man off in the distance. The definition of hot. We make eye contact. I smile then go back to my swimming. A few minutes later we make eye contact again. I let him hold my gaze for a few minutes longer. He flashes back a huge smile. He knows he’s hot, yeah. I’m way hotter…The Sassy Bitch.

He swims toward me and we start flirting. Swimming around each other in the warm water…the sensuality of the experience drawing us closer together. Then we are in each others’ arms. We start to kiss. I pull away. I take a moment to enjoy the moment. His gorgeous green eyes and warm smile. Among other things. He asks me out. I tell him I have plans. Which is true. These are unbreakable plans too. Amazing plans that I’ve been waiting forever to happen! I give him a long, sensual kiss and thank him for this incredible moment. I tell him I’ll never forget it. I caress his face, turn and leave him and the water. I let the encounter wash over me as I wade further away. Never thinking of looking back. That was an amazing moment. I wanted so much to have more moments like those! And the next unexpected moment to savor? Is going to be even better!

Time Saving Tips For More Fun This Season

To make the most out of our “12 Days of Sassy Christmas,” I thought I would look up some time savers. Because, like…I was having trouble finding time. So here are some time-saving tips, things to stress less over and a few fun and sassy things to do…with all the time you’ve saved!

Schedule a day for YOU next year. Give it a sassy name if you wish. This is a day to nurture yourself and do only that which rocks your world.
Instead of doing all the wrapping at once, wrap whatever you have purchased as you get it. I got this idea from one of my coaching clients, Sandy. I hate wrapping and I seem to hate it less now.
Avoid the shopping marathon. Use the internet and make short shopping trips. Aim to get 1, 2 or tops three gifts done per day.
CHEAT! Don’t have the time to make homemade brownies? Don’t feel guilty. Use a package mix and then add your personal touch. Like a drizzle of chocolate, yummy nuts, etc. Think to yourself…hmmm…what would make these even tastier? Enjoy and play with the thought.
If you’re entertaining, make one really yummy celebration drink. Like a champagne with a splash of peach or pomegranate juice.
Don’t feel guilty if you have to change your 45 minute work out to a 15 minute work out. Catch up in the New Year. Use the extra half hour to catch up with family and friends you love!
Wisp away grays with mascara.
You know all those Holiday Annoyances? Standing in line, rude people, etc? Create a hot little mantra to zone out to and lower the noise. Something like: I am ******* fabulous. Say it over and over softly in your mind. Breathe it in and let it wash over you.
I’m really not an E card person. However, I no longer send out a bazillion cards to everyone I know. Weed out the people who don’t send you cards. Don’t drive yourself nuts remembering people who don’t take the time to remember YOU. Don’t take it personally. People are busy.
Don’t say “yes!” to every social engagement.
Instead of worrying about keeping the whole house clean, spend 15 min. a day cleaning just one room. If you have a family, assign a person to each room.
Tell Santa you’ve only been “slightly naughty” this year.
Hand out mistletoe wherever you go.
Before shopping, put on an outfit you feel absolutely divine in. Do your hair and make-up. Glam yourself up with sparkle and a spritz of your favorite perfume. (If you see Santa…now would be a good time to tell him you’ve only been slightly naughty)

On the First Sassy Day of Christmas: Make a list of ALL and I mean ALL the things you want in your life. Career, Family, Health, Friendships, Hobbies, Love. Do this by candle light. In your most gorgeous lingerie. Or nothing at all. Bask in your favorite perfume, listen to sexy music, nibble on chocolate. Make this really relaxing and fun. I don’t care how silly it sounds: Ie: “I want to visit the Tower of London with nothing but a soft, gorgeous silk robe on and flash one of the palace guards. He passes out.” Special note to my British Babes-don’t be getting yourself arrested! ;) The key is enjoying ALL of lifes’ possibilities. Remember, nothing is impossible. Impossible is just an opinion! Bitch it up and either share with a friend or share with us on Facebook. Sharing makes us all have options that make us go… Oooooo…I want some of that!

Thanksgiving Grateful: You!

I am so grateful this Thanksgiving I can barely sit! Last night on our Facebook page I posted this:

I’m a little disturbed by emails I’ve been getting from women who are using men as experiments in dating. Yes, there are jerks out there. Get it. I meet them too. If you know a man who is into you and you aren’t? Be honest. Seriously bad karma if you aren’t!

This is so important because good men are hurt by bad women. Good women are hurt by bad men. Trust is broken. This turns into a cycle that keeps churning out more distrust and confusion about each other. I feel the hurt from both sides. Then a guy posted a remark regarding this quote. It led to a few more posts and then to some really misguided thoughts he had about women. I’m not sure if he really thinks this way because he is a jerk, or if he has been hurt by women in the past, or if he hasn’t had strong feminine women in his life who appreciate him for who he is. What was awesome was…

YOU!

Several of our “Sassy Bitches” wouldn’t let his comments slide. They get how important it is for women to have each others’ backs. How important it is to relish who we are, love ourselves and play and have fun with all the blessings of being female. How empowering it is to have permission to just go for it. Knowing you have a safety net…our Bitch Rebellion. Thank you thank you thank you. It’s only going to get better. Bigger and more fun!

Oh no I’d never to do that. Let’s do that again!

Since becoming a Sassy Bitch, what have you done that you never thought you would do…and now LOVE? Make a list of things that you would never do. Not things like “jump off a cliff.” Things like…date a younger man, skinny dip, jump out of a plane, fly a plane, etc. Let your negative little mind run wild! Keep in mind as you go about your day all the things that you say “no” to. “No,” sometimes becomes a reflex. We may just “no” ourselves to death. We may keep ourselves from trying new things and making some very interesting discoveries. By making this list and being aware of our “nos” it may help us open our minds and hearts. Open ourselves to the new, the fun, the what we “absolutely abhor” or to the “let’s do that again!”

What was my “Oh no, I’d never do that. Let’s do that again thing?” Skinny dipping.

I went to Greece when I was younger. I was at a beautiful beach in Mykonos with my girlfriends. On Mykonos you have your half nude and full nude beaches. We were on a half. My girlfriends whipped off their tops so quick it made my head spin. There I sat, surrounded by breasts, clutching my bikini top. I was SO shy! I just couldn’t take my top off! Then I noticed that the male population seemed to multiply and gravitate toward us. This only added to my apprehension regarding the whole matter. Finally…I turned over onto my stomach and bravely removed my top. Cleverly not revealing a thing. I’m a good girl. Good girls don’t DO such things. Blah blah blah going over and over in my mind.

Flash forward a few years. I’m on a beach in Florida with my best friend. We lie down on the warm sand. I’m exhausted from all the fun we’re having and all I want to do is nap. I couldn’t possibly take one more drop of fun. Not one bit. So she says:

MA: Come on, let’s go skinny dipping.

Me: Huh?

MA: Let’s go.

Me: No. I don’t want to. I’m fine here. (Note…when you start saying “things are fine” they may not be. Experiment beyond the “fine!”)

MA: You’ll love it. Promise.

Me: No. I want to take a nap. (The brat is starting to emerge. Be aware when you get bratty. You may be resisting something you really want to do)

More back and forth and then finally I agree to it just to make her happy. We get into the water. I make sure NOT to take my top off until no one can see anything. To my shocked surprise it felt soooo good. Warm tropical waters caressing my body. So then we went commando. LOVED it. I’m never going back. Now I’m the first girl to form a “skinny dipping” party when my girlfriends and I are at the beach! Careful what you resist and say no to. There may be a lot of fun in there somewhere!

So make your list, check it twice. I’m not Santa and don’t care about your naughty or nice. If it puts a “let’s do that again” smile on your face and opens your heart and mind for more, then this Queen Bitch is happy and ohhhhh so proud. xoxo Goddess

Who is Strong For You?

“I’m having a hard day. I need a hug!” ***

Who is strong for you in your life? Who makes you smile when you’re stressed, listens always and gives you a warm hug just because?

I was playing in Boston with a bunch of friends. One I’m really close to. Amazing man. He’s going through a rough patch in his life, but is taking advantage of all the opportunities coming to him. He is turning every adversarial wall into opportunity. Which I admire. Other people in his life, his Dad and his son, are going through major transitions. His Dad and his son are leaning very hard on him with their problems. He is being strong for himself and strong for everyone around him. I felt his frustration as we were talking and I said:

Me: “You’re being strong for everyone, ***.”

Him: “Yes.”

Me: “So who is being strong for you?”

Him: “At the moment, no one really.”

Me: “I’ll be strong for you. Whatever you need, whenever you need to talk, vent or whatever. I’ll be there.”

He is always there for me. He does a lot for me. I appreciate that SO much. Last night he called and his voice was edgy. He said he was exhausted. I was there for him by making him laugh, being his “wing woman” and in a few other ways. He thanked me and said “You’re wonderful.” So is he. I was just happy to make a wonderful person smile and forget about his problems. Then he went right back to helping me. Love is so reciprocal. The ones that are there for you always are the ones that love you. They teach you how to love.

Who is strong for you? Your family? Friends? Lover? Take a moment today to thank them, call them, tell them you’re thinking about them. Make them smile. Give them a warm hug. They so deserve it. It’s a simple way to not only send love back, but to open yourself up to more. Love is an action. So…just love. (warm smile) Love and a huge warm hug to you, Goddess

A Reason to Celebrate-Yes to July Fourth!

*** Yes to celebrating July 4th! And we have a whole long weekend to do it. In Sassy Bitch style!

Think about how lucky we are as women living in America. As long as it’s legal (sly wink) we can do and say whatever we want to. We can choose to smash that glass ceiling and create to our hearts content. When presented with a challenge, we can say to ourselves, “Hmm…this doesn’t work for me. How do I make this work for me?”

Things aren’t perfect. I get that. I am so grateful that I don’t live in repression, like some women in this world suffer through. I’m so grateful that I don’t live in a society that covers their women from head to toe and orders their deaths by stoning: without the chance to defend themselves. I’m beyond grateful that we don’t live in a society that removes our clitoris. Our pleasure core. A gift created for our immense pleasure taken away and leaving these women mutilated.

I’m grateful that we can celebrate our freedoms! More please! More luscious freedom for all of us and all the women throughout the world. For all the women who live in societies that disrespect and repress them, let’s honor them this weekend. By bathing ourselves in gratitude for the celebrations this weekend and moving forward. So wave those flags, relish the fireworks, wear red white blue outfits and or glitter, enjoy the barbeque, the beach, the pond and lake. The road trip that takes you to another part of our great country. Enjoy every luscious moment. Sending you a big, Patriotic Kiss and Hug…Love, Goddess

Like a Kid Again!

And summer is just the time to do it! Get in touch with your fun, silly, playful, creative self. That little kid in you is dying to come out and play.

When was the last time you went to an amusement park? Do it! Ride all the roller coasters, bumper cars, eat cotton candy, try to win a huge stuffed animal!
Go to an arcade and play all those games you used to growing up. I used to LOVE skee ball. Play pin ball, air hockey, Centipede. Just for fun, give all the tickets you win to a little kid. Watch his or her face light up!
If you have one of those race car places near you, go race a car. As fast as you can!
Go to one of those boardwalks on the beach. Complete with the huge ferris wheel and crazy side shows.
Slip and slide! Have a slip and slide party! Play 70s or 80s music, spike the cool aid, play frisbee, etc.
Go to an outdoor rock band concert. They have these cool all day festival events during the summer.
Go to a baseball game. Eat hot dogs, dress in your favorite teams’ logo outfits.
Go to the beach, watch fireworks and make S’mores.
Find a lake or pond. Bring a whole bunch of friends. A grill. Potluck it. Water ski, jet ski, swim, play water polo. Play your *** off!
Bitch up #9 by making it an overnight camping trip. Tell creepy ghost stories. Scare the you know what out of each other deep in the night.
